I’m Troy. I run Vancouver Character Events, and I build the same kind of thing for other small businesses in Metro Vancouver.
Most of them already have a website. What they don’t have is anything behind it.
That is me, actually — not a stock photo of somebody at a laptop.

None of this is a plugin. Nothing here breaks because somebody else shipped an update.
That is one business’s list. Yours will be different, and working out what belongs on it is most of the job.
Who I’ve built it for
One client so far — Vancouver Character Events. Behind the site you came from sits a back office, invoicing and payouts. You have spent the last few minutes inside the front of it; the rest is behind a login, for good reason.
Worth being exact about what that risks. The software is not the unknown — it runs this business every day, with real money moving through it. What is untested is me building for somebody who isn’t me. That is a real gap, and I would rather name it than dress it up.
The terms, before you ask
Call or text. We talk for half an hour. If I can help, you get a fixed price and a date. If I can’t, I tell you who can.
Sites start around $3,500. Systems like the one behind this site are quoted per project.
You do. The code, the domain, the data, the accounts — handed over in writing the day it goes live, whether or not you ever log in. No monthly hostage fee.
Me, if you want me — billed as work, never a subscription. Or anyone you like, because you own it. You’re not stuck with me either.
